Good news for Assam
Today I just took the Hindustan Times lazily and see the short stories in the left hand. After a long time saw some good news from Assam. Assam govt has took the initiative to offer 100 acres of land to Indias leadind IT Industries. Thats a gerat news for the people of assam. If the IT company comes to Assam, regional development will incerease. Lots of employment will be genereted. Now let us hope for the best.

The historical significance of this place are:
1. There is a pond made by the Ahom Swargadeo Gauri Nath Singha, at the time of Burmese invasion, in the Pukhuri para village. This pond is covering around 5 bighas of land.
2. There is a temple in Pahar Para village made by the Ahom swargadeo Gauri Nath Singha.
3. Malancha satra in the village Malancha is also one of the oldest satra in this area.
Geographically this place is surrounded by several lake namely - Hekra, Jamlai, Tiplai etc. All the lakes are famous for the migratory birds. nagarbera is basically a flood affected area as it is very near to the river Brahmaputra. River Kulsi flows through this place. But people called it river Jaljali.
Nagarbera's climate is mildly sub-tropical with warm, dry summers from April to late May, a strong monsoon from June to September and cool, dry winters from late October to March. The town's average yearly temperature is around 24 degree Celsius (76 °F). Average high temperature is around 29 degree Celsius (85 °F), while the average low is 19 degree Celsius (67 °F). December, January and February are the coldest and June, July, August and September are the hottest. Average yearly precipitation is around 162 cm (64.inches). June and July are the wettest months. Extreme high level of humidity, many a times at more than 80/90 percent often creates discomfort during summer.
Nagarbera is well connected with the other part of the state. There are several roads connecting this place.
